Garnet's art extends far beyond the world of His Dogness. She paints. She draws. She makes shadow boxes. Looking at the shadow boxes makes Kim so happy that, when she finishes a new one, it perplexes him that people don't elbow each other out of the way to be the first in line to buy it.
Garnet also makes origami picture frames to set off photos of the wee ones to best advantage and art magnets to spiff up your car. And her tote bags serve as practical art for the woman on the go.
You can find Garnet's art at Hampton House Gallery, Urban Artware, Pink Mink, Goslen's Invitations Only shop, The Fat Cat Ltd. (Madison) and The Station on Main Street (Mocksville). Garnet would be happy to hear from anyone wanting to carry her creations.
She also does commission work. Ever modest, His Dogness thinks that every grandparent from here to Duluth should commission a piece depicting him with the grandchildren. But he promises to try to understand if you have something else in mind.
